6 Meters ES opening

 

I was not able to complete QSO 😔but it was my first contact with South America in 6 meters band in FT8 using a simple omnidirectional vertical antenna as my Diamond V2000:

But I was able to do a complete QSO with S01WS

I tried for over an hour😊

Automatic check of callsign in Log4OM from FlDigi

As there is no native way to automatically check in Log4OM a callsign selected in FlDigi, I've wrote a small script in AutoHotkey, a open source automation scripting language for Windows

Why answer "QSO B4" in contest?

Why answer "QSO B4" in contest?
If contest rules does not give penalties for dupes, why should an operator answer "QSO B4" when at the same time he can log again the QSO?
If I'm calling you, it's because for some reason you are not in my log, do not you think so?
So, as you are wasting time to tell me there is someyhing wrong, use the same time to fix it: log me again...
